Body acne is not always easy to treat, especially on the hard-to-reach back area, and is often more difficult to treat than facial acne because body skin is thicker. But with the right regimen, it can be successfully treated. Here are some effective tips on how to get rid of body acne:

*

Wash the acne-prone areas daily using an anti-bacterial soap like Dial庐 or a washcloth with a salicylic acid-based cleanser.

*

Follow up with a 5% to 10% benzoyl peroxide cream (the thicker skin on your body can handle it better than your face) to dry out the pimples, and then use a moisturizer with alpha hydroxyl acid to exfoliate and combat any dryness. You can also use the benzoyl peroxide to spot-treat specific pimples.

*

For unsightly places where body acne hides, aka your booty, gently use a loofah and exfoliating scrub while you鈥檙e in the shower to get rid of dead skin cells. Do not scrub the area roughly, which will only increase irritation and inflammation.

*

It鈥檚 especially important to wash acne-prone areas immediately after heavy perspiration. Take a shower as soon as you can after you鈥檙e done exercising or sweating heavily on a hot day.

*

Keep in mind that it can take up to six weeks to know whether or not your regimen is working, so don鈥檛 give up if you don鈥檛 see immediate results.

*

Try specific products for your body acne, such as Clinique鈥檚 Anti-Blemish Solutions Back and Chest Spray.

*

Don鈥檛 pick at pimples because doing so leads to further irritation and possible scarring.

You can try going to a good Medical Spa where they treat acne but make sure it is with a doctor. They will be give you a personalized treatment plan directed to treat your specific skin care requirements. The utilization of standard medical treatment, such as antibiotics and topical medicines, in conjunction with laser treatments and peels targeted to treat the damaging effects of acne, like Silkpeel microdermabrasion and Vitalize Peel combined with an exclusive pharmaceutical grade skin care products.
have you tried witch hazel ?it is really good. your gp will be able to give you something to clear it my brother was given antibiotics they took a while to clear up but it was worth the wait as his skin is great now.it could also be hormonal in which case birth control pill might work ,but definetly make appointment with gp.
I used to have the same problem. i went to the doctors and they prescribed me Aquacane (?). Works quite well, just watch cos it can bleach some clothes and if you put too much on it can burn you but there are different strengths of it. Think there is also a body wash of it. Worth getting even for a try.
You should really go to your doctor. In this day in age, there is no reason you should have to put up with the discomfort/embarrassment of acne. There are a range of treatments they can offer, including topical treatments (which you put on your skin) and oral treatments.

Good luck!

lots of birth control pills work well for acne if you are old enough and are already on them-also neutrogena products are great-keep hands off b/c the oils can make it worse
go to your g.p you may b able to get lazer treatment or something that will help.
