Whats a good home remedy for removing blackheads?

most medical stuff doesn't really work on me.Whats a good home remedy for removing blackheads?
wash your face with soap twice a day

avoid getting oil on your face.Whats a good home remedy for removing blackheads?
Where are the black heads? The easiest removal is the nose area - with a hot compress and gently pushing your nose upward.

Wash with a gentle face wash and apply a toner it is key in balancing pores and keeping them away.

(Toner is witch hazel look for alba products).

Also a heated mask often helps. Using gentle hands can help squeeze the area - but not a lot of force ever or you can and will scar.

Some of the answers above are really great - especially the steaming and extracting advice. The very best thing you can do is to go to a licensed aesthetician that does extractions. You can probably get away with once every 3-4 months but once per month is the best.
Open the pores with steam or warm water. Then apply a honey mask or a clay mask to bring the impurities to the surface. Then use a sugar scrub to rub the blackheads off. Rinse with warm water. Repeat as necessary.
it depends if they are not on you nose or around your lips or eyes try using a vacume i know it sounds crazy but trust me but if they are near your lips nose face eyes then the vacume could seriously injure them use the hose attachment!!!! LOL:) BUT! if they are near your eyes lips nose mouth *use duct tape*!
I would try some of the remides at:

www.earthclinic.com

Everything there you can make at home, and there all really effective. I would reccomend any that use salt water. Those work well for me.
Blackheads are really white heads with oxidation. Benzoyl peroxide ointment can be applied 2x daily. It's a bleaching agent. Get it at walmart, generic works just as well.
